How I Help

Extensive training and experience in medical psychology, child development, and public health reflects that I tunderstand that no person, big or small, is an island.

We all are a part of multiple levels of systems. Even our individual selves are made up of systems, that deeply affect each other when one of them is struggling. As a child psychologist, I work with the children in all of us. Meaning, there are identities within you/ your child, that you are not aware of who may be speaking on your behalf. You would benefit immensely by getting to know them.

The overall framework for how I approach your individual, and family mental health is social-ecological and multi-generational in nature. Even when I use evidence-based treatments like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I heavily assess environmental layers and systems across your family’s generations that helped YOU and YOUR loved ones form, experience stressors and develop and maintain ways of coping.

You are safe here.

I will use your pronouns. I will prioritize saying your name and correctly. We will traverse your therapy journey together.
