The Plum Psychology, LLC

An online psychotherapy practice.

Why choose The Plum Psychology?

The Plum Psychology offers a unique approach to psychotherapy that includes an evaluation of diet, sleep and physical activity as part of treatment planning for every client.

The Plum Psychology is one of few practices that offers psychotherapy for young children. We are currently accepting new preschooler and elementary school clients.

Many people do not know that they struggle with ADHD or have a learning disability. This can deeply affect how they relate to themselves and others. I have 20+ years of experience helping children and adults uncover and navigate their own developmental disabilities.

The practice uniquely evaluates the potential impacts of your social environment and multigenerational trauma on your life now. We look backwards and forwards to better understand you or your child and uncover sides of the self that think and make decisions for you or your child outside of awareness. We explore how all of this impact you or your child.

Individual Therapy

Invest in a better relationship with yourself.

We often do not realize that the negative voices speaking to us are not our own. They have been with us for as long as we can remember. This negativity can lead to anxiety, depression, shame. I have years of experience in working with people just like you or your child. Let me help you or your child get on track to feeling more relaxed.

Child, Teen & Family Therapy

Help your child learn early, their emotions and have healthy relationships.

It is never too early to help children learn to help themselves via therapy. Like adults, children hurt and feel big emotions. But they don’t necessarily have the language to know and tell you what is bothering them. They often feel the pain and react. Also, your child may have undiagnosed disabilities like ADHD. This is where I can help. As a child psychologist, I specialize knowing what to look for and how to screen for disabilities. I help nurture and care for your child. Let me teach you how to be a play therapist for your child and your family.

HMedical & Lifestyle Therapy

Learn how to recognize and cope with environmental stressors that affect you and your family’s health.

Your sleep, eating, physical activity and screen time are not primarily about individual responsibility contrary to the popular dogma. Neither are they a matter of will power. I have over 20 years of combined research and clinical experience in health environments and behavior. Let’s get you and your family feeling more able to navigate “healthiness,” while being kind toward yourselves.

Multi-Generational Trauma & Identity Development Therapy

See you and your family as part of something bigger.

We are all a part of systems passed down through the generations that affect who we are and how we relate to others. Learn about the systems that shape your sense of self, your decision-making and your health. Learn how to cope and understand your full identity. As part of your therapy, I use a systems approach to evaluate your generational history & what it looks like today in your identity and behaviors.
